Byron Chamber Golf Outing Set for Aug. 20

BYRON — The Byron Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Golf Play Day Aug. 20 at PrairieView Golf Club, with registration at 9 a.m. and a 10 a.m. shotgun start. The event includes 18 holes of golf, lunch and dinner, player gift bags, team prizes, raffles and on course contests. Local businesses will sponsor games and activities throughout the course, including longest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt contests. Three spots remain available for golfers. “It’s just gonna be an excellent day. So excited. We’ve got three spots to fill, and it’s gonna be a beautiful week for golf,” said Michelle Lorenz, executive director of the Byron Chamber.
