Rochelle Plans Route 38 Lane Closure for Water Main Work

ROCHELLE — Rochelle Municipal Utilities will close the eastbound lane of Route 38 Tuesday, Aug. 18, while crews locate a water main break. The closure will extend from the 100 block of North 15th Street, south of the BNSF Railroad crossing, to the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and North 14th Street. The railroad crossing will be affected by the closure, and flaggers will direct traffic through the area. Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route if possible and should expect delays and use caution if traveling through the area.
