Primary Voters to Decide Multiple Contested Challenger Races

OREGON – With several seats open or featuring multiple hopefuls, voters in northern Illinois will decide a variety of contested challenger races Tuesday. In the 14th Congressional District, Republicans will choose between James Marter and Gary Vician to determine who faces the Democratic nominee in the fall. The Republican primary for the 76th House District is also a two-way race between Liz Bishop and Crystal Loughran. On the Democratic side, the primary for State Comptroller features a four-way contest between Karina Villa, Stephanie Kifowit, Holly Kim, and Margaret Croke.
