FORRESTON — Forreston Sauerkraut Days continues Saturday with one of its busiest days of the festival, featuring the FFA Car and Bike Show, a craft and vendor fair, parade, bags tournament, watermelon eating contest, live music by Flannel Daze and food throughout the day. Activities are scheduled across town as the four day community celebration continues through Sunday.
“We try to have something for everybody from the kids to the adults to the young at heart people. So, yeah, it’s always a fun event,” Sauerkraut Days Chairperson Jane Koeller said.
The festival wraps up Sunday with the Forreston Firefighter Community Breakfast and a community church service.
