Dixon, IL — July 2–5, 2026 — The annual Dixon Petunia Festival, a summer celebration of community, family, fun, and live entertainment, is back in full bloom along the Rock River this coming 4th of July weekend. Now in its 62nd year, the festival has become a favorite Fourth-of-July tradition in northern Illinois, blending family fun with a diverse music lineup that brings visitors from across the region to downtown Dixon.
The festival features live bands and performers on two stages — the G&M Distributors Budweiser Main Stage and the G&M Kona Reagan Stage — offering something for every musical taste. Admission for the downtown music stage is $15 per day for ages 13 and up.

Alongside the music, the Petunia Festival offers a full schedule of community events: a carnival, a family-friendly parade on Sunday, and a fireworks show over the river on Sunday night at 9:30 p.m. Music lovers can also catch the Dixon Municipal Band Patriotic Concert on Friday evening at the Old Lee County Courthouse Lawn.
