Pet of the week: I’m Poe! I’m a very sweet, loving, and loyal guy who just wants someone to call my own. I’m housebroken, know my basic commands, and I listen well. I’m the kind of dog who truly wants to please my person.
I’ll be honest… I can get a little anxious sometimes, so I’m looking for a confident, patient human who can help guide me through life and show me that I’m safe. It may take me a little time to build that trust, but once I do, you’re my person — forever.
I really enjoy other dogs and love playing with them outside! But when it comes to sharing my home, I’d prefer to be your one and only furry friend. I like having all the attention to myself. After all, I have a lot of love to give! I think I’d do best in an adult-only home with a consistent routine. Lots of noise, commotion, and activity can be overwhelming for me, so a calmer environment where I know what to expect would help me feel confident and comfortable.
But don’t think that means I’m a homebody! I love walks, adventures and I was great on a recent camping trip I got to go on. I would be so happy to have a human who wants to explore the world with me. Give me your love, and guidance, and I promise I’ll give you my whole heart. Once I’m yours, I’m yours forever. P.S.
