Illinois Celebrates Women’s Business Month

CHICAGO — Illinois is marking National Women’s Business Month in October by highlighting the state’s nearly 561,000 women-owned businesses that employ more than 661,000 people and generate $165 billion in revenue. The month includes events and resources to support women entrepreneurs, including workshops on funding, business development, and networking, along with guides and programs from the state’s Office of Economic Equity and Empowerment to help women access resources and grow their businesses.
