ROCHELLE – Yard waste recycling and brush pickup will resume in Rochelle today. Northern Illinois Disposal will collect yard waste in marked containers or paper bags on regular garbage days, with a limit of 32 gallons and 50 pounds per container. Residents must place yard waste at the curb by 5 AM. Large brush piles too big for yard waste collection will be picked up monthly by the City of Rochelle Street Division, with brush placed curbside by 7 AM on the third Monday of each month through November. Free wood chips are available for residents.
