Waterman Man Arrested on Warrant for Fleeing Police and Traffic Offenses

WATERMAN — DeKalb County Sheriff’s deputies served an arrest warrant Tuesday evening in the 100 block of North Elm Street in Waterman and took Thomas W. Raap of Waterman into custody. The 32-year-old was wanted on a charge of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a peace officer. He was also charged with reckless driving, speeding more than 35 miles per hour over the limit, disobeying a stop sign, and improper use of spotlights on a vehicle. Raap was transported to the DeKalb County Jail, processed, and later released with a court date.
