OREGON – The Veterans Assistance Commission of Ogle County has reached a milestone this month, assisting over 1000 Veterans since the start of the program. At the VACOC Commission meeting on Wednesday, it was announced that they have now assisted 1019 Veterans. So far this fiscal year they have helped Veterans acquire in new and retro benefits over $360,000. They also provided 22 trips in the month of March for Veterans to medical appointments.
