DEKALB – A two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in DeKalb County left multiple people injured. According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, they were called just before 8 a.m. to the intersection of Illinois Route 72 and Pleasant Hill Road. They say that a Roscoe woman was traveling southbound on Pleasant Hill Road in an SUV when she allegedly disobeyed the stop sign at the intersection. Her vehicle struck another SUV on the rear driver’s side. The force of the impact caused that vehicle, driven by a Davis Junction woman, to roll over several times. The Davis Junction woman and her four passengers sustained injuries in the crash. All five were transported to various area hospitals. The Roscoe woman was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
