Town-Wide Boil Order Issued In Cortland

CORTLAND — A town-wide boil order is in effect in Cortland following a water main break that caused reduced or no water pressure Sunday, Feb. 1. Residents should boil all water for drinking and food preparation for at least five minutes until further notice. The order will remain until lab samples are returned, which could take at least 24 hours. Cortland Center Road is closed between Charles and Loves roads, and water service may be interrupted during repairs.
