LELAND — Three people were taken to Valley West Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a crash Sunday evening at Suydam Road and Route 23, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said a juvenile driving a passenger vehicle west on Suydam allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign due to sun glare and struck a southbound SUV driven by a 33-year-old Camanche, Iowa woman. Two juvenile passengers in the car and the SUV driver were transported to the hospital. The juvenile driver was also cited for disobeying a stop sign.
