Straw Sculptures and Rock ‘n’ Roll Highlight Strawfest Finale Tonight

MOUNT MORRIS — The National Straw Sculpting Competition, known as Strawfest, wraps up tonight in Mount Morris with a celebration of art, music, and community fun. Visitors can explore the village square campus to see massive straw sculptures crafted by artists using wood frames, wire, and locally grown straw. The final night features straw bale races on closed-off downtown streets and a live rock and roll concert by Rick Lindy and the Wild Ones at the Reckmeyer Bandshell. Food vendors and family-friendly activities will also be part of the evening festivities.
