SCHAUMBURG – A 76-year-old Stillman Valley man is charged with first-degree murder after police say he shot and killed his 45-year-old daughter-in-law, Christine Moyer of Galena, Ohio, outside a Schaumburg hotel Friday night following a family wedding; Moyer died at a hospital, and Roland Schmidt was taken into custody at the scene and is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
