State Investigation Finds Housing Authority Attorney Violated AI and Outside Employment Policies

SPRINGFIELD – A recent Office of Executive Inspector General investigation looking into allegations that an Illinois Housing Development Authority attorney wrongly used artificial intelligence with sensitive information found the employee violated policies. The OEIG reports the employee’s emails contained AI-related information to his outside law firm, violating both AI and outside employment policies. The employee was terminated.
