BYRON — Sinnissippi Centers and the Byron Area Chamber of Commerce are holding a ribbon cutting and open house today at 4:30 p.m. at Sinnissippi’s newest location in Byron. Local leaders and community members are expected at the event, including city officials, chamber board members, and staff from the mental health agency. The office, which opened this spring at 212 West Blackhawk Drive, currently staffs six professionals and provides services such as counseling, crisis stabilization, substance use support, psychiatric care, and early childhood mental health.
Andy Jackson, Marketing Coordinator with Sinnissippi Centers, said everyone is welcome.
“We would love for you to see our new Byron office,” he said. “We’re excited to be in the community, and we hope to see you there.”
Sinnissippi Centers serves several counties in northern Illinois and operates offices in seven communities.
