SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Department of Natural Resources will open its second site specific dove hunting and youth dove hunting lottery today statewide for additional permits. Hunters may apply for leftover opportunities through the state hunting system. The department manages fish and wildlife programs, state parks, and outdoor recreation sites across Illinois.
