Rockford Brewery Staff Rescues DoorDash Driver After Vehicle Slides Into Rock River

ROCKFORD – A DoorDash driver was rescued from the Rock River Wednesday afternoon after their vehicle slid into the water at Prairie Street Brewing Company in Rockford. The incident occurred around 2:45 PM while the driver was picking up an order. Staff at the brewery threw a float ring to the driver, who was pulled to safety before the vehicle sank.
