OREGON — The Rock River Valley Blood Center will host a community blood drive Tuesday, June 16, at the Nash Recreation Center, Oregon Park District, 304 South Fifth Street in Oregon, from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The center said it supplies blood for 14 area hospitals and relies on donor participation to maintain supply levels. Donors are asked to bring a photo ID. Maggie Anderson said summer continues to be a critical time for blood donations.
Anderson said, “We rely on community support to keep hospitals supplied with blood. Every donation helps ensure patients get the care they need without delay.”
