Rochelle School Violence Threat Found False

ROCHELLE — Rochelle Township High School officials and police investigated a reported school violence threat Friday morning and determined it was not credible, according to Superintendent Jason Harper. Families directly involved were contacted by police as part of the investigation. Harper urged parents to discuss with their children the seriousness of comments about school violence, noting such situations will not be tolerated and consequences will be enforced.
