Rochelle Fourth of July Parade Keeps Traditional Route Despite Construction

ROCHELLE— The Rochelle Fourth of July Parade will step off at 3 p.m. tomorrow and follow its traditional route from City Hall along Sixth Avenue to Lincoln Highway, then to Lincoln Avenue, north on Ninth Street, west on 10th Avenue and end at Atwood Park. The parade is organized by the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce this year.

Rochelle Chamber Executive Director Tricia Herrera said it will be a great afternoon.

“Do not let the construction downtown deter you by any means. We’re going to make it happen despite that,” she said.

The celebration will continue at Atwood Park with food trucks, vendors and fireworks.
