OREGON — A 39-year-old Rockford woman has been sentenced to nine years in prison for her role in a 2025 Rochelle home invasion, according to Ogle County State’s Attorney Mike Rock. Officials said Linsey N. Blitch was sentenced in Ogle County court after pleading guilty to home invasion. The case stems from an incident in which Rochelle police said two suspects forced entry into a home and assaulted two residents. Police said a male suspect struck a male victim and pointed a firearm at the residents, causing head injuries, while Blitch assaulted a female victim who suffered soreness. The male suspect, Mark Cooper, was previously convicted of home invasion, armed robbery, and being an armed habitual criminal and is serving a 58 year prison sentence.
