ROCHELLE — The City of Rochelle has approved its 2025 property tax levy Monday night, totaling $3,104,199 in revenue. The city’s equalized assessed valuation is estimated at $354.4 million, up nearly $30 million from last year. Despite the increase in total taxes collected, the city’s tax rate will decrease to .875916 per $100 of EAV. The levy includes funding for the Police and Fire Pension Funds as recommended by actuarial studies.
