AURORA – Governor Pritzker is considering the idea of a possible mid-decade congressional remap in Illinois. Speaking this week in Aurora alongside Texas state representatives and DNC Chairman Ken Martin, Pritzker says redrawing Illinois’ Congressional districts isn’t something he wants to do, but everything is on the table in the fight against GOP redistricting efforts in Texas. Democratic Texas lawmakers have been in Illinois since Sunday to prevent Texas Republicans from voting to re-draw the map that would give them five more pickup opportunities ahead of 2026. Texas Democrats are also in New York and Massachusetts.
