POLO — The Polo City Council voted Monday to select Angle Insurance for employee health coverage at a cost of $15,043.80 for employees and $17,291.66 for the city. Members also directed the city attorney to draft an ordinance raising bulk water rates to $10 per 100 cubic feet with a $100 hookup fee each time. In addition, the council approved purchasing a Flygt pump for the wastewater treatment plant lift station at a cost of $24,773. Police Chief Matt Coppotelli’s recommendation to set Halloween trick-or-treating hours for Oct. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. was also approved.
