ROCHELLE – Local law enforcement is joining more than 200 agencies across Illinois this Labor Day weekend to target impaired, distracted, and unsafe driving. Increased patrols will focus on stopping drivers under the influence of alcohol, cannabis, or other drugs, enforcing seat belt laws for all passengers, and addressing other dangerous driving behaviors as part of a statewide effort supported by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
