DIXON — Weather permitting, construction on Illinois 38 between Ashton and Franklin Grove in Lee County will begin Monday, July 7th, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. The project will involve pavement patching with daytime lane closures managed by flaggers. Work is expected to be completed by the end of July.
