Oregon Recognizes Wastewater Operator for 10 Years of Service

OREGON – Scott Wallace, the Wastewater Operator for the City of Oregon, was recognized at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting for a decade of service.

Oregon City Manager Darin DeHaan acknowledged his hard work and dedication.

“ I just wanna publicly say Scott is one of those employees that goes above and beyond all the time. He really buys into maintaining our wastewater plant. And there’s a ton of things that go into it,” he said.

“And sometimes when he talks about the calculations that he has to make and the response he has to do with rainwater that comes in. So I just want to compliment him, not only just for the 10 years of service, but the actual job that he does. It’s been fantastic.
