OREGON — The City of Oregon plans to celebrate Arbor Day on April 24th with a tree planting at the open space behind the north welcome sign, weather permitting. City officials said a Niobe Weeping Willow will be planted at the site as part of the community observance. The event is scheduled for 10 a.m., and residents are invited to attend and participate in the planting. Shovels will be provided for those who want to help.
