OREGON — The City of Oregon’s three day community celebration marking the nation’s 250th anniversary continues Saturday with events at the Depot Museum at 400 Collins Street from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Activities include a welcome speech, Oregon High School essay readings, a band performance, live music, Silverview rail car tours, food vendors, and Rotary raffle sales. The celebration concludes Sunday at the Oregon Coliseum and CMAAA at 124 North Fourth Street from noon to 3 p.m. with a flag raising ceremony led by the VFW, welcome remarks, an Oregon High School band performance, announcement of patriotic decoration winners, and a self guided 250 Flags Walking Tour.
