(Omaha, NE) — North Carolina beat Oklahoma 6-2 to force a decisive game three of the Men’s College World Series. Jake Schaffner and Cooper Nicholson each drove in a pair of runs for the Tar Heels. Caden Glauber tossed five shutout innings of relief to earn the win.
For the Sooners, Jaxon Willits led the offense with an RBI double in the first inning. Xander Mercurius surrendered four runs over four innings to get the loss.
Game three will be played Monday night in Omaha.
