MT. MORRIS — The Rock River Valley Blood Center is hosting a blood drive today, May 13, at Pinecrest, 414 S. Wesley Avenue, from noon until 5 p.m in Mt. Morris.
“Blood donation is a simple act that directly supports local patients, and we are grateful for every person who takes part,” said Maggie Anderson, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist for the Rock River Valley Blood Center.
RRVBC supplies the total blood needs for 14 area hospitals and depends on regular donor support to meet weekly targets. Appointments are encouraged at RRVBC.org and donors should bring a photo ID.
