MOUNT MORRIS — A 38-year-old woman from Mount Morris was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after her minivan was reportedly rear-ended by a sedan Tuesday evening on Illinois Route 64. The crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. as she was turning into Mt. Morris Estates and was struck by a sedan driven by a 16-year-old from Oregon. Deputies and Mount Morris EMS responded to the scene. The teen was cited for failure to reduce speed.
