ROCK FALLS — A 36-year-old man is being sentenced to 20 years in prison for a deadly stabbing earlier this year in Rock Falls. Kyle Cooper received the sentence after pleading guilty to second-degree murder yesterday. Authorities say Cooper stabbed 27-year-old Daniel Gordon in February in the 600 block of West 20th Street. Gordon was taken to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
