CHICAGO – The last member of the ComEd Four is sentenced. A federal judge ordered Jay Doherty to serve one year in prison. He was convicted in a bribery scheme connected to former Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan. Doherty and three others were convicted of conspiring to influence Madigan to benefit ComEd. He will also receive six months of supervised release after he serves his sentence. Doherty is expected to surrender to authorities on September 30th.
