Kiwanis Golden K Kicks Off Peanut Days Fundraiser

ROCHELLE — The Kiwanis Golden K Club kicks off their annual Peanut Days fundraiser today and tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with members collecting donations in Rochelle. All proceeds will support local youth activities, including baseball, soccer, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other programs, as well as eight annual high school scholarships. Chet Olson, chairman of Kiwanis Peanut Day, said, “It’s always been one of our good fundraisers every year, and we will be at two locations this year. This year we’ll be at Walmart as well as downtown at the four-way stop by the post office.”
