BELLEVILLE – Illinois leaders are highlighting the expansion of the Sales Tax and Revenue bond program to communities statewide. Officials say the program is designed to support economic growth with financing options to develop and revitalize communities through major tourism, entertainment, retail, and destination-based projects in STAR bond districts. Governor Pritzker expanded STAR bond eligibility to municipalities statewide through a law signed in December.
