CHICAGO — Illinois has launched One Click College Admit, a statewide direct admissions program for public universities and community colleges that lets high school seniors and community college transfer students gain automatic acceptance based on GPA alone. The program eliminates applications, fees, essays and letters of recommendation, simplifying access to higher education for students across the state. Students can opt in online to receive fall 2026 admissions offers, and beginning in January 2026, community college students can also participate by sharing their GPA and completed credits. One Click College Admit does not replace financial aid applications, which students must still complete through FAFSA.
