Illinois Gaming Board Marks Problem Gambling Awareness Month

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Gaming Board reminded residents that March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month, highlighting their ongoing efforts to address gambling addiction through the Illinois Department of Human Services and other organizations. The IGB operates a voluntary Self-Exclusion Program to help individuals avoid casinos and sportsbooks in Illinois. As of March 2025, over 15,000 people had enrolled.
