Hoyle Road Bridge Over I-88 to Close Through November

DIXON – The Hoyle Road Bridge over the Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88) is scheduled to close Thursday, October 15, at 7 a.m. for repairs and remain closed through November. Work will include concrete and bridge deck repairs and sealing. No detour will be posted, and drivers should plan alternate routes. Daily lane closures on I-88 will also be needed during the work. Meanwhile, repairs to the Atkinson Road Bridge over I-88 have been completed, and it is scheduled to reopen Thursday. The Illinois Tollway says the work is weather dependent and is being coordinated with Lee County, Nelson Township and local emergency services.
