POLO – A garage on West Henry Road, southeast of Polo, was burned down Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters from multiple departments responded after the blaze threatened to spread to nearby structures. An SUV, a snowmobile, and other items inside the garage were lost. A nearby shed sustained minor fire damage, but crews quickly extinguished the flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation, though it is believed to be accidental. No injuries were reported.
