Fiesta Hispana Returns To Downtown Rochelle Saturday

ROCHELLE – Fiesta Hispana will return to downtown Rochelle Saturday, Sept. 12, celebrating Hispanic and Latino culture with music, dancing, food, vendors and family activities. The event, hosted by the Rochelle Hispanic Association, will mark the eighth year of Fiesta Hispana and will take place on Lincoln Highway between Fourth and Fifth avenues from 4 to 10 p.m. The evening will also include Cut the Square and activities at other downtown businesses.

Rochelle Councilwoman and event organizer Rosaelia Arteaga said the event is open to the entire community.

“Small town Rochelle, but we have big events. So it is family friendly,” Arteaga said.

The event is being organized with support from the City of Rochelle, the Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Association.
