SYCAMORE – The DeKalb County Community Foundation has awarded a $60,000 grant to Habitat for Humanity of DeKalb County’s Home Preservation Program over the next three years. The funding, from the Howard and Mildred Eychaner Fund, will support various home repair projects in DeKalb Township. The program helps low-income homeowners, including seniors, with essential repairs such as new roofs, accessibility ramps, and other modifications to improve safety and comfort. This grant continues the Foundation’s support of affordable housing in the region.
