ST CHARLES – A DeKalb County man is sentenced to 12 years in prison for attacking a family member. Koda Uebel pleaded guilty to attempted murder. Prosecutors say in May of last year, Uebel attacked a 71-year-old relative in her home. Uebel then attacked Kane County deputies, who used a Taser before taking him into custody. The victim was sent to the hospital with serious injuries.
