DEKALB — The DeKalb Chamber of Commerce is seeking vendors for its annual Local Showcase set for April 23 at the Northern Illinois University Convocation Center, with early bird registration discounts available through March 20 and a final deadline of April 16. The event will feature more than 80 businesses and nonprofits and serves as a business and nonprofit expo for the community.
Membership Manager Anna Wilson said, “You can go online right now to our website, DeKalb.org. Go to our events tab and you will find our Local Showcase.”
Wilson said chamber members receive a significant discount and an added early bird rate through March 20, and she encouraged groups to register soon, saying, “This event sells out. So if you want to be there, definitely come.”
The showcase will also provide opportunities to share job openings, promote volunteer needs and host family friendly activities.
