Davis Junction Habitat for Humanity to Hold House Blessing and Open House

DAVIS JUNCTION — Habitat for Humanity of Ogle County will host a house blessing and open house Sunday, March 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. at 117 Prairie Moon Drive. The event will start with a blessing at 2 p.m., followed by an open house to celebrate the completion of the new home and welcome the Hintzsche-Schutz family. Volunteers and donors from the community helped build the home, and the family contributed 200 hours of sweat equity. The family will receive a zero-interest mortgage and will maintain the property. Light refreshments will be served.
