Rochelle High School Approves Summer Pavement Project

ROCHELLE — Rochelle Township High School approved a $909,705 pavement project for this summer covering the bus lane, east exit, and teachers’ parking lot. The district received six bids and selected Martin & Company Excavating after the lowest bid failed to meet specifications. The work is the second phase of the district’s pavement improvement plan and includes two alternate bid options recommended by the district’s engineering consultant, Green Associates. Officials said the project will improve safety and accessibility on campus.
