CRESTON – The Creston Village Trustees reviewed several infrastructure projects Tuesday night, including sidewalk replacement work on East South Street and East Depot Street that is expected to be completed in September once contract paperwork with Bruns Construction is finished. The village also continues work on its lead service line inventory, with about 61 customer inspections remaining. Trustees also discussed drainage and erosion concerns in the subdivision, including silt and gravel collecting near gutters and curbs. A developer is planning to extend Pierce Street and add water services to four or possibly five lots, which would create a water circulation loop in the area. The village also approved a $3,000 contribution toward this year’s fireworks.
