BYRON – The CPKC Holiday Train will stop in Byron from noon to 12:30 p.m. November 24th near Byron High School on Tower Road. The free event will feature live performances by MAGIC!, known for their hit song Rude, and singer songwriter MARIS. The brightly decorated train travels through Canada and the United States each holiday season to collect food and cash donations for local food banks. All donations stay in the communities where they are collected to help families facing food insecurity. Since the tradition began in 1999, the Holiday Train has raised more than $28.3 million and collected over 5.6 million pounds of food.
